How to set up your screen
- Turn on the screen and select your language.
- Select Basic Setup.
- Set display orientation to Landscape - content rotation is handled by Fyresign.
- Set Auto Power Off to Off - this prevents the screen from turning off automatically.
- Set brightness - select On to save power, or Off for maximum brightness (Only available on selected models).
- Set up an internet connection.
- Under Play via, select URL Launcher and enter: https://fyresign.app Press done, then press the right arrow on the remote control.
- Skip the connection to RM Server option.
- Set the correct date and time - this is important for the app to work correctly. Press the right arrow to continue.
- Set a PIN, or use the default 0000. Press the right arrow to continue.
- Press Home on the remote and select the URL Launcher.
- Press Install.
The app will now install and start. The screen will display an activation code - you are ready to connect the screen to your account.
These are the most common reasons the app fails to install:
Date and time are incorrect. The date and time on the screen must be exactly correct. Even a small discrepancy can prevent the app from loading. Go back to the setup and correct the date and time, then try again.
The URL contains a typo. The URL must be entered exactly as written: https://fyresign.app Check that all characters, dots, and letters are correct. A single wrong character will prevent the app from loading.
Connect the screen to Fyresign
- On your computer, go to app.fyresign.com and log in.
- In the left menu, click screens.
- In the top right corner, click Add new device.
- Enter the activation code shown on the screen.
- Give the screen a name and click save.
The screen is now connected to your Fyresign account.
Display content
- In Fyresign, go to screens and select your screen.
- Assign a playlist and click save.
