This guide takes you through the installation of the SocialScreen app on Android devices that do not have Google Play Store available.
- Download the FyreSign APK:
HERE – the download will start automatically. - Transfer the downloaded APK file to a USB stick.
- Connect the USB stick to the Android device, and locate the APK file in the file system.
- Install the app.
- Start the FyreSign app.
You can find it in the app overview on the device. - A code screen will appear, and you are ready to connect the screen to your account.
The app is still under development, and bugs may occur. Your feedback helps us improve the app.
The following takes place on PC:
- Log in to the system by typing https://app.fyresign.com in your browser and log in.
- When logged in to the system, you will have a menu on the left side with an option called Devices. Click on this. In the top right corner, click Add new device.
Enter the code displayed on your screen, give the screen a name, and remember to save device. - You can now create a Playlist with the desired content from the Slides option
(if you need help with this, there is a “Product presentation” video at the bottom of the Dashboard page). - Press Devices and select your screen. On the right-hand side, enter which playlist you want to display and save device.
- Everything is set up and ready! Feel free to restart the app, to verify that the the content starts playing automatically on startup.
