The iFrame slide lets you display any website directly on your digital signage screen - without copying the content manually. It is useful for showing dashboards, status pages, event listings or other external websites that update automatically from the source.

Troubleshooting

The page does not display - only a white or blank area appears

The webiste is most likely blocking iFrame display via X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy. Contact the developer and ask them to whitelist our domains.

Cookie popup covers the content

Ask the developer to provide a version of the page without a conset dialog, or a dedicated URL intended for screen display.

The content does not fit the screen

Check that the page has responsive design. If not, ask the developer to adapt the layout for screen display.

The page displays, but data is not updated

The website must ensure that content is up to date on load. If the source caches data, contact the developer to adjust this.

Frequently Asked Questions about iFrame

Can I display a page I am logged in to?

No. The iFrame slide is not authenticated and cannot access accounts that require login. For services behind authentication, you need a solution that generates public URL or an embed link that does not require sign-in.

Can I use the iFrame slide to show YouTube or Vimeo?

Fyesign has dedicated slide types for YouTube and Vimeo. Use those instead for better playback control and performance.
