Scheduling slides and playlists

Scheduling lets you decide when a slide or playlist appears on screen. Choose time of day, weekdays, and a date range with a start and end date.

How to schedule a slide

  1. Open the slide in the editor
  2. Click Schedule in the top-right corner
  3. Set the active period:
    1. Time of day: from and to, e.g. 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
    2. Weekdays: which days the slide should display.
    3. Date range: start and end date
  4. Turn on the Active toggle
  5. Click OK and save the slide. Without saving, the schedule won't take effect

How to schedule a playlist

  1. Open the playlist
  2. Click Schedule
  3. Set the period and save

When a playlist is outside its active period, every slide inside it is skipped.

Important: if both a playlist, and a slide inside it have schedules, the playlist schedule wins. The slide won't display while the playlist is inactive, even if the slide's own schedule says it should.

Good to know

  • Time zone: Schedules follow the time zone of the screen the slide displays on, not your computer.
  • End of period: Once the end data passes, the slide stays in the playlist but is skipped. Nothing is deleted.
  • One schedule per slide: If you need the same content in multiple separate periods, duplicate the slide.

How to edit an existing schedule

  1. Open the slide
  2. Click Schedule
  3. Adjust the values
  4. Click OK
  5. Save

How to remove a schedule

  1. Open the playlist
  2. Click Schedule
  3. Turn off the Active toggle
  4. Click OK
  5. And save.

The content now displays continuously as long as it's part of an active playlist.
