Connect your Instagram account
Before you can display Instagram content, you need to connect your account through the Meta integration. You only need to do this once.
- Log in to Fyresign.
- Go to Integrations in the left-hand menu.
- Find Facebook and click Connect.
- Log in to you business account and follow the steps required.
Create an Instagram slide
Once your account is connected, you can create a slide. Fyresign offers three Instagram slide types - choose the one that fits your needs.
Display posts and images from your Instagram account. Content updates automatically as you post.
- Go to Slides in the left-hand menu.
- Click Create slide in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to Facebook and select Instagram.
- Select the account you want to display posts from.
- Customize the background image and color scheme under Content and Design, if needed.
- Click Save.
Instagram single post
Display a specific Instagram post on screen.
- Go to Slides in the left-hand menu.
- Click Create slide in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to Facebook and select Instagram Single Post.
- Select the account you want to display posts from.
- Customize the background image and color scheme under Content and Design if needed.
- Click Save.
Instagrid
Display multiple Instagram posts as visual grid. Ideal for showcasing a range of content such as promotions and product images.
- Go to Slides in the left-hand menu.
- Click Create slide in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to Facebook and select Instagrid.
- Select the account you want to display posts from.
- Customize the background image and color scheme under Content and Design if needed.
- Click Save.
Add the slide to a playlist and display it on screen
Once your slide is created, you need to add it to a playlist before it appears on the screen. This step is the same for all slide types.
- Go to Playlists in the left-hand menu.
- Select an existing playlist, or click Create playlist in the top right corner.
- Drag your slide from Slides to Active slides.
- Click Save.
The slide will noe appear on any screen unless it's assigned to a playlist.
FAQ
I connected my account but no content is showing
Verify that the connected account has administrator privileges for the business account. Personal accounts and private profiles are not supported.
You can connect multiple accounts under Integrations and select the relevant account when creating each slide.
Fyresign fetches new content automatically, but the device must be connected to the internet. Check the screen's network connection and restart the app/player if needed.
Use Instagram for an automatically updating feed, Instagram Single Post to highlight one specific post, and Instagrid to showcase a range of posts as grid.
